Obituary of Dorothy Merring DiBernard

Dorothy Merring-DiBernard, 82, of Netcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at VNA Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus.

Born on September 21, 1940 in Dover, NJ to the late Wallace and Dorothy (Post) Conklin, Dorothy resided in Mt. Arlington prior to moving to Netcong 25 years ago. She worked as a school bus driver for the Jefferson Township Board of Education. Dorothy enjoyed taking trips to the casino.

She was predeceased by her first husband Chester Merring and her second husband William DiBernard.

Survivors include three sons Raymond Merring (Linda), Wallace Merring (Betty Jean) and Christopher Merring (Deanne), three step-children, Dina Zaharuk (peter), William DiBernard, Jr. (Eileen) and James DiBernard (Cathy), four grandchildren, one great grandson, many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Dorothy's Life Celebration will include visiting on Thursday April 20 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Friday April 21 beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Flanders-Hillside Cemetery in Roxbury Township.
