Obituary of Janice Vera Mauthe

Janice Vera Mauthe, 91, of Hopatcong passed away on Wednesday July 5, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus.

Born in Englewood, NJ on December 26, 1931 to the late Vero and Marie (Albero) Neggia, Janice was a long-time resident of Hopatcong. She and her late husband Conrad owned and operated The Ridge Restaurant in Hopatcong for 35 years. Janice was also a certified Radiology Technician.

She enjoyed shopping, baking and word search puzzles, but her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family.

In addition to her husband Conrad, Janice was predeceased by a grandson Eric Blohm and a sister Judith Young.

Survivors include daughter Elyse Dunne and her son, Todd Blohm and his wife Jennifer and their two (2) children Harper and Austin, daughter Janice S. Mikitik and her husband Michael, their two (2) children Derek and Kyle Mikitik.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A celebration of Janice's life will be announced by the family at a later date.
