Kevin...I miss him very much. I never met a guy quite like him, so heroic. He put up a brave fight throughout his ordeal and now he's at peace; no more hurting. Virginia, words cannot express how I feel for your loss. Now, you have 2 angels looking down upon you. You've raised a wonderful man who's made an impact on many of us. Kevin has a special place in my heart...and that's where he'll stay.

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Allen. Your son always made work a little more fun. And he was ever the gracious one - even when I was bothering him about some project. He was funnier than people realized and he will be missed.

Virginia, We are so sorry about Kevin. He was such a nice, quite man! He was more a brother than a friend to Kenneth! We will miss him! Kevin R.I.P.

My deepest sympathy for family and friends. I met Kevin through my husband while in college. He was a dear friend to both of us and I have countless cherished memories of us together. From setting up camping gear and playing bp, to always lending a helping hand, and everything in between. Kevin's courage and strength through the past several years is not something that you see often. He is at peace now. Much love.

Like many others, I've known Kevin since the early days of college and got to basically watch him grow up, as we all did. Through it all, the coolest thing about him that never changed is that he was 100% genuine in everything he said or did. He never felt the need to conform or alter who he was or how he felt... he was happy just being Kevin. He didn't have to fake it to be a good friend... he simply was one. The challenges that he fought through for the last 4 years are something that noone deserves, but I can't think of anyone who deserved it less than he did. I feel regretful that we largely lost touch for a good while, but I know Ill never forget him, I'll always be grateful for his friendship, and I'll always look to the strength he showed over these last few years as the ultimate inspiration for dealing with life's challenges

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; But often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Kevin, you always made me feel so welcome in your home & comfortable in your presence even when my status was just "some girl your friend was dating". You graciously ate many of my experimental recipes and fibbed about how good they were to spare my feelings, and even choked down second helpings b/c you were so sweet. I'm going to miss your hearty laugh and big sincere hugs. Im grateful that my husband had such a great friend like you that shared a lot of special moments with us.

Good bye my sweet child; you were the joy and light in your father's and my life. After you passed, I saw that your arm and leg were no longer paralyzed. You were able to walk up to your Dad on sturdy feet and hug him with two strong arms. My life is so empty already after only 2 days. I love you so much.

We wish with all our hearts that you were here with us! We love you and will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Till we meet again.....Love Aunt Lydia and Uncle Steve xo

As the tears flow, I try to remember the happier times we shared. I think back to when you were little and what fun it was when I got to hold your hands and help you to walk. I remember when Big Bird came to your birthday party, not so sure that was a big success, but it was fun. The funniest memory was when you were old enough to play a game, I can't remember what we played but I do remember winning. Oh boy, you were not happy at all, that's when your mom told me I was suppose to let you win. I still tell people that story. The last time we laughed together was at Uncle Charley's birthday. It didn't seem fair at the time that you caught up and could sit at the adult table too, that was the begining of our laughter for the night. I will treasure these memories forever.
May you rest in peace and live forever in our hearts.
