We have such fond memories of Uncle Ed; always sharing stories, showing pictures, and enjoying his wonderful laugh. I feel lucky to have spent time with Uncle Ed over the past years. He certainly made his mark on this earth with his good deeds and now we all have an angel to look over us. We love and will miss him terribly as he rests in peace!
With Love; Sue, Rick, Allie & Jenna

I was lucky enough to share so much of my life with Grampa. I remember looking forward to every birthday; I knew that he would have the most unique present for me. When I went to North Carolina to visit him during the summer I was treated like a king. He gave me his old army gear to play with... which inspired me to serve just as he did (although I never made it to Captain like Grampa). Grampa taught me to drive when I was sixteen, never once flinching in the passenger seat. I took my drivers test in his car (which he eventually passed on to my sisters). He was at my high school, college, and police academy graduations. He had a place of honor at my wedding. We always looked to him to say the blessing at every meal. Grampa had a way of silently spreading kindness to others. Wherever he was, people were laughing and smiling.

Uncle ED was a very nice gracious man. He will be missed dearly, I always enjoyed talking with him, visiting and in later years sharing "jokes", e-mails, and phone calls with my uncle Eddy.
We all love him, and will cherish our memories with him always.

Although we know he is no longer suffering, that doesn't lessen your grief. We will all miss Uncle Eddie. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
What I remember the most about Uncle Eddie was how he used to laugh at Thelma, Helen, and Emma when the three sisters got together and had such crazy fun! His eyes would crinkle up with his laughter, and he'd chuckle and shake his head at their antics! I imagine they're all back together now and having crazy fun, and he's just sitting there laughing with them!
